Halloween

Added: October 30th, 2006 (tagged with: chicago, holiday)

Last Saturday, Sarah, Rob, Steph, and I all dressed up and went out to the bars to celebrate the best holiday of the year, Halloween. Sarah went dressed as June Carter; Rob dressed up as a Leprechaun (not Warwick Davis); Stephanie went out as a pirate (more specifically Captain Jack Sparrow; and I went out as Eric Draven from The Crow. It was nice that Daylight Saving Time was in effect, we got home at 2:30 a.m. (technically it was only 1:30 a.m.) and had the chance to sleep in a bit on Sunday.

I also have permission from my manager to dress up for work tomorrow (on Halloween)! So, I need to get up a little earlier to put all the face paint back on for work in the morning. =)

I'm really disappointed with Evanston. Nobody in this town dresses up for Halloween. And, I work within a half-mile of Northwestern... College campus, plus Halloween, equals Nothing. Sigh. At least I'm not the only person at work to dress up. Wendy (our Operations Manager) came as a handy-man, and Scott (my Manager) was in the Halloween spirit wearing a shirt with "Ghosts" all over it (they are actually condoms).
