Turkey Overload

Stephanie and I are back in Chicago after spending the Thanksgiving Holiday in Minnesota. We left the windy city last Tuesday and got into Saint Paul around 1:00 a.m. Wednesday night, we went out to Old Mexico for what has become a traditional night of Margaritas, coming home around 1:30 a.m. Thanksgiving day was spent at Anna and Dan's apartment, after which, all of the girls went out to see Happy Feet. Friday night was spent at Billy's (a local bar); home around 2:00 a.m. Stephanie's 23rd birthday was this past Saturday. We had another turkey dinner over at her grandma's house to celebrate. Afterwards, a few of us went to the American and the Wild Onion until closing time; home around 2:30 a.m. A long ride back to Chicago on Sunday wrapped up our weekend.
This coming weekend, my parents are making a "turducken" (a chicken inside a duck inside a turkey) on Saturday, and we have a dinner to go to on Sunday night out in Oak Park with my little group of people from work.
We had lots of yummy food this past week, and more to look forward to this coming weekend. =)
