Leapfrog Holiday Party 2006

Yesterday was Leapfrog Online's annual holiday party, it was also opening night of Q101's Twisted 13 featuring Disturbed at the Aragon Ballroom, but I digress. Festivity started early in the morning. Upon arriving to work, there was a present and card on everybody's desk. All of the guys got nice zip-up fleece sweaters, and all the gals got embroidered scarves. The card had instructions printed on them informing people where they were to head for the pre-party activity (I went to the Bottom Nine Bar). The holiday party started at 4 p.m., which meant everyone had to be out of the office at 3 p.m. =) so they could lock up the building before heading off to a night of drinking. Our pre-party activity consisted of sitting around in groups of three discussing some "get to know you" questions. At 5 p.m., everyone headed over to Mia Francesca's for appetizers and drinks before dinner was served at 6 p.m. Festivities lasted until 9 p.m. at Mia Francesca. At this point, I opted to walk home instead of joining a smaller group of people for more drinks at Sheffield's (and another bar after that) until the wee hours of the morning. A good time was had by all.
