After working all summer on an iPhone application for the Brookfield Zoo as a part of my Wireless Applications at the Zoo class at IIT, my AT&T contract was finally eligible for an upgrade. So, I upgraded. After a couple weeks with the iPhone, I'm completely satisfied with my purchase. Google Maps integration has been helpful on a few occasions to find out where places are and how to get around traffic jams. I'm actually starting to use the calendar, although, one complaint I have with it is that the dates entered into the contacts list (birthdays/anniversaries/etc) don't show up in the calendar. And I have a few fun time wasting games at my disposal.
I've had a few ideas for my own iPhone applications, so keep looking here for future announcements once I find time to start working on something =)
